The evidence indicates this office has historically received record requests in accordance with Iowa Code Section 22.4(2.) that this office chose to disregard. Record requests related to Iowa Public Information Board Executive Director Erika Eckley and Jasper County, IA CIO Ryan Eaton’s decision to spread hysteria, and false allegations of criminal conduct not supported by evidence related to evidence of statewide discrimination against service-connected mental health-based disabilities (See: Iowa Code Chapter 216).
Your office is directed to expedite the release of public records, including the following electronic mail addresses or keywords:
Any other records related to vexatious records requests
Any records including the name Michael J. Merritt in any form (i.e., Mike Merritt, Michael Merritt, Michael J. Merritt, Michael James Merritt, etc.)
It is not relevant to me if this agency releases these requested records while producing evidence of adhering to the law or after being served with evidence of its violation of the law. In my judgment, this office is nothing more than a member of a long line of State of Iowa agencies that currently find themselves seated at the front end of my steel toe boot.
